Bills Lake 1
Situated just one mile from the AutoRoute south of Reims, a straight forward 200 mile trip on the A26 from Calais makes Bill's Lakes easily accessible for carp anglers travelling from the UK.
From Calais, take the A26 AutoRoute signposted to Paris and Lille.
After approximately 70 miles (110 km), at the junction of the A26/A1, follow directions to Reims on the A26.
At Reims follow signs for the A26/A4/E17. You will join the A4 towards Troyes.
After approximately 25 miles (40 km) the A4 rejoins the A26 - follow the A26 to St.Gibrien.
Exit the AutoRoute at Junction 17 St.Gibrien turning.
Turn left at the roundabout on the RD3 to Matougues and Avize.
Continue straight at next roundabout for approximately 500 yards and drive to the village of Matougues.
Turn right at the first turning in the village (rue de la Dime) and first right again down the gravel track.
Follow the track along the railway for 500 yards and cross at the crossing, continue along the track for another 500 yards until you see the sign for the lake.
Turn left at the sign for the lake... you have arrived.
Bills Lake 3
From Calais, take the A26 AutoRoute signposted to Paris and Lille.
After approximately 70 miles (110 km), at the junction of the A26/A1, follow directions to Reims on the A26.
At Reims follow signs for the A26/A4/E17. You will join the A4 towards Troyes.
After approximately 25 miles (40 km) the A4 rejoins the A26 - follow the A26 to St. Gibrien.
Exit the AutoRoute at Junction 17 St. Gibrien turning.
Turn left at the roundabout on the RD3 to Matougues and Avize.
Continue straight at next roundabout for approximately 4.5 miles and drive to the village of Aulnay-sur-Marne.
Turn right at the second turning in the village (rue du pont) and continue over the bridge and straight ahead to the crossroads.
Turn right at the crossroads and just past the church turn left and continue alond the tarmac then gravel track for 1 mile.
Go through the gate and round to the left - you have arrived!
Bills Lake 2, 4 & 5
From Calais, take the A26 AutoRoute signposted to Paris and Lille.
After approximately 70 miles (110 km), at the junction of the A26/A1, follow directions to Reims on the A26.
At Reims follow signs for the A26/A4/E17. You will join the A4 towards Troyes.
After approximately 25 miles (40 km) the A4 rejoins the A26 - follow the A26 to St.Gibrien.
Exit the AutoRoute at Junction 17 St.Gibrien turning.
Turn left at the roundabout on the RD3 to Matougues and Avize.
Continue straight at next roundabout for approximately 500 yards and drive to the village of Matougues.
Turn right at the first turning in the village (rue de la Dime) and turn left at the end on to Grand Rue.
Follow the road for about 500 yards making sure you give way where required until you see a right turn sign posted Juvigny.
Turn right, cross the railway and bridge and after 300 yards turn right down the track.
Continue for about 1 mile until you come across a lake on your right hand side.
Turn right after the lake and continue down the drive - you have arrived!
Please DO NOT arrive at Lake 1 if you are booked on any other lake. Anyone arriving at lake 1 rather than lake 2, 3, 4 or 5 will miss the draw and not be permitted to enter the lakes until later that day.
DO NOT enter the lakes early for a walk around at any time before your check in time, please wait at the gate until your are asked to enter. It is not fair to disturb the other anglers!
